Carla Pellegrino, who appeared on Top Chef: Seattle, has some rebuilding to do at her restaurant Bratalian Neapolitan Cantina in Henderson. Pellegrino reports that "a truck lost direction and drove right inside … leaving behind a track of damages to my restaurant and to our lives."
Fortunately the restaurant was closed at the time and Pellegrino’s sister Alessandra Madeira says she was running 15 minutes late. Pellegrino reports that the driver is "doing OK as well."
Bratalian plans to stay closed for at least the next two weeks but hopes to give diners a better timeframe for a reopening in the next five days.
"I will work hard to be able to comeback to business ASAP.... More info to come as soon as I get them," Pellegrino says on Facebook.
Pellegrino recently returned from Miami after two years of opening and running Touché Restaurant & Lounge. She only recently added lunch and a weekend brunch to the menu.
