A second shot at bringing Italian dining to the southeast’s Regal Colonnade retail center is now serving in soft open mode. The shuttered home of Gabriella’s Italian Grill & Pizzeria, "San Padre Island's ‘best Italian restaurant’," has been replaced with all new decor by Prosecco Fresh Italian Kitchen, in a concept described as a marriage of "Northern cuisine and Southern culture."
Created by Domenico Arico, a VIP host with SBE, Prosecco features a large patio in front of the corner location at the northeast intersection of Eastern Avenue and Pebble Road, plus a vibrant interior, decorated with images of famous Italians and tributes to the country.

Still not ready to share a final menu or opening hours online, current offerings being served to friends and guests who chanced upon the "Grand Opening" signage, include calamari, fettuccine and short ribs, lobster and shrimp, home made pasta, pizza from their wood fired oven, branzini, or European sea bass, and for dessert, tiramisu and a budino.
The retail enter is already home to a range of diverse dining options, including Truffles N Bacon Cafe, Havana Grill and Ali Baba Las Vegas.
