A new retail center close to Windmill Lane at 7965 S. Rainbow Blvd. is bucking the trend of hosting familiar brand names and creating an unusual destination for locally created sweet treats.
Already home to the second location of Sweet Poke, a build-your-own sushi burrito and poke bowl concept, right next door an under construction ice cream store is hoping their eye catching mascot will help lure curious customers.
Creamberry will take over a 1,364-square-foot space at #140 and is already claiming it's "not just an ice cream parlor, we are a one stop dessert shop." Hoping to debut in early September, on the menu will be smoothies, frappes, "snow fluff," milkshakes, acai bowls and "macaron ice cream."
Two doors down, work is about to begin on the 1,400-square-foot Summer Bee Cafe, a yet-to-be announced project to be managed by Sui and Xiang Li.
And adjacent to the cafe, even more dessert options, with another yet-to-be revealed project, so far only known as the Donut Shop. The two businesses have yet to estimate any debut dates.
