PKWY Tavern from restaurateur Jonathan Fine will bring its third local concept to Henderson, complete with gaming and plenty of room to house their current menu of more than 250 beers.

PKWY Marks will take over the long shuttered 10,893-square-foot Carmine’s Italian Kitchen restaurant and bar, located directly behind the Sunset Station Casino and Resort. The real estate pitch for the venue noted a 2649-square-foot upstairs banquet room, outside patio, "twenty 60" plasma screens" and enough room for 359 guests.

PKWY Marks bought the building in April and is currently remodeling and waiting on a backlogged State Gaming and City License department to grant them permission to operate 15 machines on the premises.

The original PKWY Tavern debuted in a former Roadrunner Saloon in Spring Valley in February 2015, boasting hundreds of beer options and a casual pub-style food menu including the "Scorpion Wing Challenge" of "12 beer poached wings tossed in scorpion pepper hot sauce. You will have 10 minutes to finish the wings and then a 5-minute wait."

Next for Fine will be PKWY Rampart, opening in September at Tivoli Village and taking over Elizabeth Blau and her husband Kim Canteenwalla’s Made LV.
