The former home of Garfield’s, then briefly Latin Fish and Isabela’s undergoes another renovation to become Americana, a new restaurant from former Charlie Palmer Steak executive chef Stephen Blandino.
The restaurant on Lake Jacqueline in Desert Shores plans to bring a menu inspired by European. Some of the dishes already teased include a foie gras terrine with Nutella, raspberry spaghetti and figs, the white peach burrata and prosciutto dish and golden egg carbonara with truffles.
Blandino plans to serve a fresh catch of the day as well as weekly harvest with a tasting menu paired with unlimited wine.
The restaurant plans to feature an al fresco dining area as well as a library media room with audiovisual services for meetings.
The restaurant plans to be open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 4 to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 4 to 11 p.m. with a happy hour daily from 4 to 6 p.m.
