If you are a fan of big-name country music stars and the Wahlberg family of Mark, Donnie and Paul, you'll be able to double down on your twin passions at the Grand Bazaar Shops later this year.
Country star John Rich, of Big & Rich fame, will debut his Redneck Riviera "Nashville style honky-tonk bar" in December, sitting directly above the recently debuted Wahlburgers. Designed as a home for live music, beer and a place to "Git Down," Redneck Riviera won't include a kitchen, but guests will be able to order from the casual burger spot's menu without moving from their bar seat and have it delivered upstairs.
Looking to debut during the annual National Finals Rodeo events from Dec. 1-10, Redneck Rivera will host nightly live music, usually from a house band, but name acts are also promised for the future. Rich has announced he will be present at the "Grand Opening," but has yet to confirm if he will be performing.
A second Redneck Riviera on Nashville's Lower Broadway is also in the works and both venues will include "The Heroes Bar," where "if you are active duty or a veteran, your first drink is on the house. Our motto is 'have one on us' to celebrate their dedication to this great nation."
North Carolina's Bar Management Group will oversee operations and is already known for managing the Charlotte nightclub, bar and restaurant Whisky River in partnership with NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr.
