Las Vegas is home to many new restaurants. Some of the smaller ones that open with less than a shebang go unnoticed. Here's a look at nine of the new smaller restaurants and bars that opened recently all over the Las Vegas valley, including a global ice cream shop, a Chinese barbecue, a Hong Kong-style cafe, a gastropub and more.

CHINATOWNLokuras goes global with its ice cream treats at 3685 S. Decatur Blvd. Find shaved ice, Mexican chamoyada and botanas and esquites, a Mexican street corn. [EaterWire]

HENDERSON The Habit Burger Grill opens its third Las Vegas location at 10604 S. Eastern Ave. with freebies and charity events. On Aug. 9, The Habit Burger Grill donates 100 percent of all the proceeds to three non-profit organizations, including Three Square Food Bank, Project 150 and Spread the Word Nevada. [EaterWire]

HENDERSON — The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf opened a new location in Henderson at 10604 S. Eastern Avenue on the corner of Horizon Ridge Parkway. [EaterWire]

CHINATOWNCool Bar, a Chinese barbecue restaurant and karaoke bar, opened at 4350 Spring Mountain Road. Look for dishes such as a seafood pot, cucumber cold dish, dumplings, lamb skewers, barbecue steam bread slices, fried sweet potatoes and fried chicken wings. [EaterWire]
