A fresh wave of construction projects at the Grand Bazaar Shops continues their apparent mission to turn the Strip location into a casual dining destination with bonus adjacent retail.
New on the horizon, the fourth local outpost of Sin City Brewing Co. They will be taking over the small, 315-square-foot storefront briefly occupied by Sandwich Haven on the south wing of the shops. The Las Vegas brewers will not be serving food and there is only enough room for 10 inside, but the estimated $178,000 in construction costs will create a venue for the company’s six custom beers.
The brewery already operates at the Miracle Miles Shops, Grand Canal Shoppes and at their flagship branch at Harmon Corner. A location inside the Flamingo resort shuttered in 2014. An opening date in front of Bally’s has yet to be revealed.
Also in the works, an upgrade to the Marash Ice Cream kiosk, close to Las Vegas Boulevard. In addition to selling Turkish ice cream with a bonus theatrical flair, they are adding 300-square-foot of space to serve sandwiches.
Work continues on the first Nevada home for Chicago's Giordano's and their famed deep dish pizza. The delayed progress makes a once promised "early fall" arrival date now seem unlikely.
An estimated $2,605,009 construction budget will transform 5,525 square feet of second-floor retail above Starbucks into their restaurant and bar. Guests will also be able to order food and drink from a new patio section in the middle of the Grand Bazaar’s shopping promenade.
And John Rich of Big & Rich country music fame is still on target to debut his Redneck Riviera "Nashville style honky-tonk bar" directly above Wahlburgers by the end of the year.
