Las Vegas celebrates Mexican Independence Day today with food specials all over the city. The day commemorates Sept. 16, 1810, the day Father Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla urged Mexicans to rise up against the Spanish-born ruling class. Here’s a look at 13 ways to celebrate all over Las Vegas.
FORUM SHOPS AT CAESARS — Border Grill makes a full day of its brunch with a fiesta from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Executive Chef Jaime Covarrubias and Border Grill founders Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken created these two dozen dishes for $34.99 per person.
