The Downtown Grand unleashes a new restaurant filled with bites of Americana and music served round the clock. Freedom Beat features dishes from Hell’s Kitchen Season 12 winner Scott Commings right off the casino floor.

Look for breakfast dishes served all day and night. Find eggs scrambled, poached, fried, boiled or whisked into an omelet; Benedicts including the pork belly Benedict with spiced Hollandaise; upside down caramel apple pancake; and a red white and blue velvet waffle.

Also find an oyster po boy with spiced remoulade and house pickled vegetables; a pot roast sandwich; and the signature IPA burger with caramelized onions, fried pickles and cheese sauce.

For starters, try the novelty chicken fried bacon, flamed-grilled oysters, East Coast steamers, smoked wings and grilled corn elote style with New Mexican chili peppers.

Dinner comes family style meant to share. Beer can chicken and the full smoke platter each serves four people. Add barbecue baked beans, mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes and more on the side.

Other entrees include ale-battered walleye and lemon and white wine broiled walleye as well as shrimp and andouille jambalaya and grilled chicken make the menu.

For dessert, try S’Mores doughnuts, skillet apple pie, funnel cake and fried Twinkies.

Sticking with the theme of the restaurant, live music.

The restaurant from 34th Floor Hospitality Group was designed by Las Vegas’ own Bunnyfish Studio with tiered levels with 160 seats and a bar.
