Judging by voluminous social media posts, the Las Vegas vegan community appears to be ecstatic about the arrival of Vegeway, from Veggie House chef Kenny Chye. The first local purveyor of "vegan fast-food" and one of only a handful of vegan drive-thrus in the country, the menu is receiving rave reviews, with special praise given to its burgers.

Located in the shuttered 1,895-square-foot former Great American Food sandwich shop at the corner of Jones Boulevard and Robindale Road, Chye is already planning a second location.

Inside the casual concept, VegeWay offers seating and counter service and for fans of fellow vegan Morrissey, plenty of songs by The Smiths on their Spotify playlist.
