If you want to be first in line for the opening of the North Las Vegas Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, you’ll need to set an early alarm.
Via their Facebook account, the company has announced they will begin serving on Monday, Oct. 24, at 6 a.m. The second local Cracker Barrel to debut this year, the standalone plot at 2815 E. Craig Road sits across from an In-N-Out Burger.
It had once hoped to be ready shortly after the very successful July arrival of their first Las Vegas Country Store, 17 miles to the south at 8350 Dean Martin Dr., close to the Silverton resort. Their opening day saw dozens of customers patiently waiting for the doors to open.
The company-owned restaurant with no franchises or independent operators expects opening hours to be the same as their sister restaurant, daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
And while the menu of hearty "fancy fixin’s" like meatloaf, chicken fried steak and hash brown casserole won’t be changed, tradition dictates each location is uniquely decorated with "1,000 real American artifacts, memorabilia and signage collected by a team of experts."
