Luiz Oliveira’s long expressed dream to expand his Sambalatte Torrefazione "Caffè Lounge & Espresso Bar" downtown was finally confirmed last month and new details reveal a better idea how his coffee shop will fit into the downtown landscape.
Once planned to take over a space on the ground floor of the Soho Lofts half a mile north, the fourth local Sambalatte will take over the corner of a row of currently vacant buildings stretched between 1311 and 1319 Main St.

Locals Metroplex Group are leading the project, imagined to be split into three approximately 1,850-square-foot tenant spaces and leave around 2,200 square feet for Sambalatte, with a covered patio at the rear.

The new renderings confirm the project is still looking for permission to offer a drive-thru service.
Sambalatte has operated with great success in Boca Park, Spring Valley and at the Strip entrance to the Monte Carlo resort.
Misaresh is advising prospective tenants the building will be delivered as a "grey shell" by the end of the year. Sambalatte has yet to make an official announcement about its expansion.
