Family-run and a locals' favorite since 1991, Nora's Italian Cuisine has expanded from their 3,800-square-foot, strip mall home close to the corner of Flamingo Road and Jones Boulevard, to a more luxuriant, purpose-built 6,898-square-foot restaurant. But if you were familiar with their original location, you’ll find the new place very easy to locate.

Moving just 900 feet east on Flamingo, the two-block move has given the new Nora’s more parking spots, an airy main dining room, a floor-to-ceiling wine cellar, a long bar and an outdoor patio with a bocce ball court. Live jazz is already being programmed on Friday nights.

Open for lunch and dinner, general manager Marcello Mauro has kept the Southern Italian menu favorites nurtured by owners and founders Nora and Gino Mauro, including arancini, bruschetta al pomodoro, their pizzas and the "Crazy Alfredo," a "fettucine Alfredo piled with chicken, sausage, jumbo shrimp, porcini mushrooms, domestic mushrooms, roasted bell peppers, sun-dried tomatoes and jalapeños."
