Back in June, The Palm Restaurant closed for a $1.5 million renovation after a 23-year run at the Forum Shops at Caesars. Now it’s ready to reveal the makeover, debuting today.

Look for modern touches as well as additions to the famous celebrity caricature collage the brand is known for, an expansive wall-to-wall mural depicting the Las Vegas Strip and new dishes.

The Palm’s resident artist Zack Bird hand painted the new artwork. A custom 512-square-foot, hand-painted mural of the Las Vegas Strip covers the evolution of Vegas from past to present. Bird painted it in his Pennsylvania studio before transporting it to Vegas. Bird and his team painted more than 50 celebrity caricatures that cover the walls and include familiar faces such as Céline Dion, Rod Stewart and Reba McEntire.

New additions to the menu include a four-cheese Nova Scotia lobster mac ‘n’ cheese with a bacon crust for $13 for family-style or $9 for individual portions; coconut-crusted sea scallops with watermelon radish and jicama slaw for $18; executive chef Kiko Ojeda’s tenderloin sandwich with oven-dried tomatoes, baby arugula, pepper jack cheese, Sriracha aioli and sweet potato fries for $19; bone-in Colorado veal rib chop malfata made with baby arugula, shaved fennel and red onion with a mozzarella di bufala salad for $44; and a 12-ounce Australian Wagyu ribeye steak for $59.
