Local residents and stars of Animal Planet’s reality TV show Tanked are capitalizing on the runaway success of their aquarium business and launching a Las Vegas restaurant, the first in a planned nationwide chain.

Appearing on the CBS Sports Radio show Ferrall on the Bench, Brett Raymer, co-owner of Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, revealed to host Scott Ferrall their Las Vegas location will be called Get Tanked. He estimated it would be six to nine months before completion. Florida and New Jersey were also suggested as possible future expansion sites.

Brothers-in-law Raymer and Wayde King have raised their southeast Vegas aquarium facility into a world leader in custom manufacturing. Playing off their family dynamic and the tensions of working with celebrity clients, the mega-hit TV show has lasted eight seasons and more than 85 unique aquarium builds.

Local commercial restaurant and resort work includes the Palms, Wynn Las Vegas, Encore and CityCenter. On the show, they’ve also helped transform an old "smoker" for Vegas favorite, Rollin Smoke BBQ.

A confirmed location or further concept details for Get Tanked have yet to be announced.
