Take a look inside Andre’s Bistro & Bar, the new restaurant from Stacked Hospitality that honors chef Andre Rochat, one of the pioneers of the fine dining scene in Las Vegas.
The restaurant from managing partners Joseph Marsco, Mark Purdy and John Wood features a "modern French bistro meets American tavern feel." Throughout, repurposed accents from Rochat’s previous restaurants decorate the space. Butcher block tables and reupholstered banquettes create the "eclectic backdrop" for the space, formerly the home of DW Bistro, which now resides at the Gramercy.
Rochat's niece, Isabelle Michaud, used Rochat's life before he moved to Las Vegas from Europe as the inspiration behind her sketches, some featuring guests dining and drinking, as well as an image of a rooster that resembles the logo from the first Andre's in downtown. The five-foot-high replicas of her drawings "appear to be unfurling from the pages of a sketchbook painted on the bistro’s walls."
The main dining room offers space for 120, and another 50 can fit in the private dining room. The bar seats 12.
