A hit at South Point since its debut in 2010, Steak 'n Shake has expanded in a smaller form to the eastside, but you won’t casually stumble across the counter service spot unless you know where to look.

Located in UNLV’s Student Union food court, a few steps away from another recent arrival, chef John Chien Lee’s Soho Sushi Burrito, Steak 'n Shake features an abridged menu, but does serve the two best-loved items that have made the Midwest chain’s name since 1934.

The location is now open to all visitors, not just university staff and students.
