The million dollar makeover of the Parasol Up lounge at Wynn Las Vegas has very quietly been unveiled. So quietly, the resort’s own website doesn’t give a hint of the new changes, still displaying images of the old color scheme and layout for the very popular destination. And now Parasol Down, the downstairs sister lounge, is about to undergo the same standard of upgrade.

After less than two months work and $1,169,209 in estimated construction work on the casino floor, Parasol Up has returned with an airier, lighter space, keeping the original carpet color scheme, but adding new green accents. They’ve also installed huge, mirrored gazing balls as a visual focal point.

Down the escalator, work has yet to begin on Parasol Down, but paperwork has been filed to remodel the architecture, plumbing, electrical and "audio visual" components, with an estimated construction budget of $801,900 to fix up the 3,093-square-foot space.

A temporary shutter date for Parasol Down has yet to be announced.
