With the recent departure of Rita's Italian Ice, the number of dining, snacking or drinking options at TV star Rick Harrison’s Pawn Plaza has dwindled to two options. But 2017 might be the year of the big comeback.
Confirmed to be taking over the shuttered corner home of Smoke's Poutinerie, Jared's Old Fashioned Hot Dogs & Hamburgers is promising to begin serving "early" this year.
Created by Hold On LLC, Jared DeBehnke is the namesake operator behind the company with Dan Kouretas, formerly of Petra at Tivoli Village and currently Lucky’s Lounge & Restaurant.
Opening hours or a debut date have yet to be revealed, but a preliminary menu has been posted. A classic burger is imagined to be priced at $4.99, with a double for $7.49. Add ons include sauerkraut, cheese, chili and bacon. Hot dogs range in price from $3.99 to $5.99 for a chili cheese dog, with corn dogs available for $4.49. Fries, onion rings and tater tots will be on the "sides" menu.
