It has been a very busy 12 months for the Boulevard Mall, adding the Sea Quest Aquarium and new dining options Olivia's Mexican Restaurant Mariscos & Bar and Hatari Restaurant & Sports Bar, continuing Sansone Companies’ rehabilitation of the retail center turning 49-years-old next month.

Next for the mall, a companion to their family-focused tenant John's Incredible Pizza Company. King Putt has begun the permit process to open a 34,000-square foot facility, expanding from their locations in Henderson on Stephanie Street and in Las Vegas at the corner of Lake Mead Boulevard and Tenaya Way.

On the eastside, King Putt will be adding electric go-karts, climbing walls and laser-tag to their popular 18 holes of blacklight mini-golf. The space will also include a dining room for private events and a still under wraps restaurant, yet to be described in recent filings.

Created in 2008, both original locations charge $9.50 for 18 holes and are open daily until 10 p.m. and until midnight and 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. An official announcement of the expansion, or a projected opening date, has not been revealed.
