The "world’s largest Latin chicken chain" arrived in North Las Vegas back in April, hosting local dignitaries including the local El Salvadoran Consulate General. The consulate’s office has now posted an update to Facebook announcing Pollo Campero’s second local expansion is currently hiring and included a photograph of a sign announcing that it will debut on Oct. 12.

Located at 4521 E. Charleston Blvd, close to Lamb Boulevard and across the street from the Charleston Swapmeet, the 5,580-square-foot, built-from-scratch, fast-casual restaurant used an estimated construction budget of $1,145,203.

At its original location at 1025 W. Craig Road, Pollo Campero serves daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a menu featuring chicken available by the piece, plus boneless chicken bites known as Camperitos, Peruvian verde empanadas, plantains, street corn salad, rice and beans and for dessert, flan and a dulce de leche empanada.

A yet-to-be announced third location filed paperwork back in March to take over a shuttered 2,888-square-foot Pizza Hut, half a mile from the Palace Station resort.
