The Galleria at Sunset Lands a New Restaurant

A little bit of Mexican and a little bit of Chinese come together at the newest restaurant announced at the Galleria at Sunset. Bobby Mao’s Chinese Kitchen & Mexican Cantina plans to take over a 7,000-square-foot space near Red Robin.

Owners Bobby and Tina Mao already have a Bobby Mao’s Chinese Kitchen in Palm Desert, California, at the Westfield Mall. There the menu includes Asian sliders and panini in flavors such as Mongolian beef, Sichuan chicken, and Asian barbecue pork. Crispy wonton tacos and Asian soft tacos come in moo shu pork and Kung Pao chicken while Asian hot pockets fill two hot scallion pancakes with choices such as teriyaki chicken. Lo mein noodles, garlic soy-glazed chicken wings, Shanghai rice cakes, spring rolls, honey barbecue ribs, fried rice, and coconut shrimp round out the menu. Vegetarian dishes include tofu broccoli, Kung Pao tofu, bok choy, and string beans.
