The bloody Marys of Las Vegas tend to lean toward the absurd. Andiron Steak & Sea at Downtown Summerlin lets brunchers create their own. Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar at Red Rock Resort brings the Bloody Marys table side on a cart that includes a choice of mixes and garnishes in jars for $70. Even Virgil’s Real Barbecue at The Linq Promenade dishes out the Loaded Big Bloody Bull Rider with a homemade mix made with Virgil’s own spicy barbecue sauce and is topped with a barbecue chicken wing, smoked brisket, grilled shrimp, bacon lardon and jalapeño-stuffed olive. The meal-in-a-glass is then rimmed with the restaurant’s dry rub.
Now Lavo at the Palazzo gets in on the action with its own over-the-top bloody Mary, served during the weekend party brunch. Customers can order the concoction that features an entire lobster, shrimp skewers, crab legs, bacon skewers and celery sticks. The two sizes are priced at $500 and $250. The bloody Mary is served to the table in an ice sculpture and comes with a bottle of Tito’s Vodka.
