Dutch Bros. Coffee has been looking to expand in Las Vegas ever since the coffee shop debuted a first drive-thru home on East Tropicana Avenue two years ago. While paperwork showed a continued interest in a space seven miles to the south, a second coffee shack is now confirmed for North Las Vegas.
Known for its fervent fans dubbed the “Dutch Mafia,” the expansion will take over the 1,014-square-foot former home of Hick’s H&H BBQ Pit Stop, at the corner of North Las Vegas Boulevard and Hamilton Street, facing the North Las Vegas City Hall.
The building already features a drive-thru and future employees are being advised they should expect working shifts between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. On social media, the local operators have announced they are “hoping” to debut in “late December or early January.”
On the menu, a full range of beverages, including coffee blended from Colombian, Brazilian and El Salvadoran beans, flavored choices like the chocolate macadamia nut "Annihilator" and the "911," created with Irish cream and 6 shots," plus lemon poppy-seed, chocolate chip and orange cranberry muffin tops.
