Canter’s Deli makes its highly anticipated return to the Strip, finally debuting its second Las Vegas location at The Linq Promenade. The 3,370-square-foot delicatessen sits close to the High Roller in the attraction’s former ticket counters and across from Yard House.
Of course, favorites make their return as well. Half-pound hot pastrami or corned beef sandwiches on rye, matzah ball soup, New York-style cheesecake, and chocolate chip racetrack cake make a comeback, along with bagels and lox, potato cakes, and a tuna melt.
Canter’s Deli, of course, originally opened in 1924 in Jersey City, New Jersey, then made the move to Los Angeles in 1931. The deli once had a location at Treasure Island, and only last month, debuted with a 6,300-square-foot restaurant at Tivoli Village with room for 200 diners indoors and another 45 outside on the patio.
