Promising to go “where no tea has gone before,” Taiwanese global mega-chain Chatime officially debuts in Las Vegas this weekend, the first of “multiple” local expansions.
The 2,015-square-foot space sits a few doors down from the very successful Hobak Korean BBQ at the Mountain Point Business Park on Spring Mountain and next door to the recently opened Ramen Hashi.
The new bubble tea shop is currently serving in an unofficial mode, but a grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18. Future opening hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily and staying open until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
On the menu, 14 different milk teas, 10 different smoothies, plus juices, coffees, “Oriental pop teas” like the “Japanese Sakura Sencha,” fruit teas and a Chatime specialty, whipped topping mousse drinks priced at $4 for regular size, or $4.75 for a large, with flavors like black tea, chocolate, matcha and winter melon.
Still to come at the business park, the 2,944-square-foot Cafe Gabi, an imaginatively designed bakery and coffee shop anchored by a “greenhouse roasting room.”
