One of the names most synonymous with Chicago-style deep dish pizza is headed to the west side. Giordano’s made its first expansion to Las Vegas in late 2016, creating a restaurant and separate outdoor dining and drinking venue at the Grand Bazaar Shops on the Strip.
Now, the 43-year-old brand is making a move to Boca Park and is already far enough into the process to be hiring for all positions..
Giordano’s will take over the 5,089-square-foot former Applebee's Grill & Bar, in a standalone building on the southern side of the retail center. This restaurant will be corporate owned, not by franchisers.
Photographs taken by local real-estate agent Michael Bondi suggest the exterior of the building still needs a few weeks of work. While the job postings are online, Giordano’s has yet to create an online “new location” page for the future venture.
Famed for its two-inch high pies overloaded with cheese, Giordano’s on the Strip also serves thin and extra-thin crust pizzas, plus salads, pastas, sandwiches and desserts.
