Regulars at the dog run in Sunset Park have a new fast-casual dining option in their future.
Riverside, California’s R Burgers is bringing a drive-thru to the Warm Springs Marketplace, close to the corner of Eastern Avenue and Warm Spring Road. Replacing a shuttered Burger King, construction work has begun on converting the substantial 3,230-square-foot space.
R Burgers operates two locations in its hometown and in less than two years has quickly earned a very loyal following.
Generous with its portions, customers can order chicken tenders, classic melts, sandwiches such as pastrami or albacore tuna, tacos, quesadillas, and burritos, plus their burgers, which are prepared with Thousand Island dressing.
Part of the R Burger appeal is the expanded choices, such as the breakfast selections served all day. Favorites include French toast, pancakes, and a series of plates that arrive with hash browns and toast, including ham and eggs, chorizo, huevos rancheros, country fried steak and a collection of omelets.
An estimated opening date has yet to be revealed.
