When downtown sandwich concept The Goodwich registered a new company back in April, all the clues pointed to a new expansion at the corner of Buffalo Drive and Warm Springs Road in the southwest.
The new location is now finally confirmed, with paperwork filed ahead of construction on a 2,332-square-foot shell building. Located a short walk from the close-to-debut Fist of Fusion and the already pouring PT's Gold tavern, The Goodwich will also neighbor the still being built Fukuburger and Jogasaki Sushi Burrito inside a building designed by downtown favorites Bunnyfish Studio.
A budget of $185,000 has been allocated in estimated construction costs to overhaul the Goodwich’s blank space, large enough for a maximum occupancy of 150 inside.
Launched downtown in early 2014, inside a small kiosk in the Dino's bar parking lot, the team moved into a permanent space at the base of the Soho Lofts apartment building in early 2016.
