A dominant, casual dining presence on the Las Vegas Strip, the Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group is expanding again, reviving one concept and introducing a brand new venture.
The first Bonanno’s Gastro Pub is headed to the Grand Canal Shoppes and will take over the long-vacant space previously occupied by the Tintoretto Restaurant & Bakery.
More than a year ago, the 6,639-square-foot restaurant was originally closed with the intention of spending $1.34 million in estimated construction costs to revamp the bakery and market space.
The replacement gastro pub will be built with its own estimated construction budget of $850,000 and current paperwork calls for the creation of a “pizzeria kitchen.” An announcement of the project or an estimated arrival date have not been revealed.
Further to the south, Bonnano’s New York Pizzeria, recently pushed out of New York-New York resort to make way for 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, is moving into the MGM Grand. Work is well underway converting the 2,424-square-foot, former Starbucks site, close to Level Up.
