Making sure its name covers most of the bases, Michael T's Steaks, Ribs, & Burgers Tavern has debuted in the southwest, filling the substantial 7,500-square-foot former home of the Brentwood Tavern.
In addition to a full menu offering dishes not normally found in a local gaming tavern, the venue is also hoping to draw a crowd with its other attractions. At the bar, 15 gaming machines are already installed and a Big Tee Golf Room is up and running.
Located at the easy-to-spot location at the intersection of Tenaya Way and Warm Springs Road, inside features a Rat Pack-inspired mural and in the near future, live music highlighted by a promised residency of "dueling pianos."
On the menu, tapas choices like $6 bacon wrapped dates, $8 “roasted grilled artichokes,” and the $10 “steak & chimichurri.”
The main menu includes sandwiches, pizzas and a full rack of ribs priced at $28. Entrees of salmon, lamp chops, jambalaya and the $17 rosemary lemon chicken, join a collection of steaks, like the 16oz bone-in rib-eye and the $29 12-ounce "NY steak"
Desserts include the Nutella pizza, topped with strawberries, bananas, almonds and Nutella spread.
