Island Time Floats Tiki Bar Adds Tacos and More

The prime location opposite Wahlburgers has been good to the Island Time Floats Tiki Bar, which has launched its newly expanded space at the Strip’s Grand Bazaar Shops.

Serving Dole Whip soft serve and tropical drinks since its debut in January 2016, the new expansion has created indoor dining, an asset at the retail hub during the summer months, and a casual menu available from breakfast until late.

Featuring extended opening hours of 9 a.m. to 4 a.m. daily and until 5 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday, breakfast options include the $14.95 steak and eggs taco platter, a $10.95 build-your-own burrito and a $9.50 churro Belgium waffle. The new dining area replaces the shuttered Waffle Bar.

Joining “street tacos,” quesadillas and “Mexican street corn” are larger taco platters, like the "Cabo inspired filet mignon" for $18.95 or the $17.95 Caribbean blackened shrimp option.

The restaurant also offers the super-sized "ultimate bowl" served in a pineapple and stacked high with "specialty" items, including jerk chicken, shrimp, filet mignon, rice, beans, salsas, corn and guacamole.
