First North Las Vegas and now the southwest, next year the hardcore “Dutch Mafia” fans of Dutch Bros. Coffee will have three locations to sample the Colombian, Brazilian and El Salvadoran blended beverages.
The Oregon-based chain launched its first local drive-thru at 2840 E Tropicana Ave. in June 2015 and will soon be headed nine miles to the southwest to the under-construction Shoppes at Blue Diamond, close to the intersection with Arville Street and not far from the Hi Scores Bar-Arcade.
The 800-square-foot space will sit right at the main entrance, sharing the retail center with a future Don Tortaco and four yet-to-be leased retail opportunities that could also host new dining concepts. The future of the center's brand new Goodwill building has yet to be determined, following an August Chapter 11 filing for project owner Goodwill Industries of Southern Nevada Inc.
Work is due to begin soon on building the Dutch Bros outpost, which will serve its wildly popular series of hot and cold drinks. An estimated timetable for arrival has yet to be announced. A second expansion at the corner of North Las Vegas Boulevard and Hamilton Street, facing the North Las Vegas City Hall, is still “hoping” to debut in “late December or early January.”
