Eureka!, the American classic restaurant, now has an opening date in the Emergency Arts Building in Fremont East. On Feb. 12, 2018, the restaurant plans to join the insanity in Fremont East at 520 E. Fremont St.
The restaurant plans to have space for 170 diners in a 5,000-square-foot room outfitted with industrial and modern touches, as well as a patio.
Dishes include mac n’ cheese balls made beer cheese sauce and Fresno chilis; a cowboy burger topped with shoestring onions, bacon, cheddar cheese, and finished with beer barbecue sauce; a bone marrow burger with bone marrow shiitake butter, charbroiled onion, horseradish mustard aioli, roasted tomato, and grilled onions; skirt steak with grilled broccolini, red chimichurri, chili flakes, Parmesan, and lemon zest; and a bourbon barrel cake finished with pecans, caramel, and vanilla bean ice cream.
The restaurant expects to serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with mimosas and bloody Marys for $5. Steak n’ eggs, chilaquiles, and bread pudding French toast make the menu.
