Once hoped to be launching its “classy-kitsch joint” in mid-November, Hamburger Mary's has revealed a new opening day timeline for its return to Las Vegas.
The LGBT-friendly burger restaurant left its original local home across Harmon Avenue from the Hard Rock Hotel 11 years ago, but the new site is promised to be even better, sharing an approximately 11,000-square-foot space with the existing Flair Nightclub.
Located close to the corner of Flamingo Road and Spencer Street, construction work is underway, with the team now hoping for a “February/March” arrival.
The large remodel includes the “dining area/bar, outside patio and kitchen/dish wash area” and work has been slowed by building the kitchen from scratch, digging up old plumbing and electrical work and meeting "strict Clark County guidelines."
Once completed, the “100% smoke free” environment will be home to “late-night shenanigans” at “Mary’s Bar” inside the main dining room. On the menu, “big & juicy gourmet burgers,” sandwiches and “elevated pub fare,” all served with a “side of sass.”
Also still promised, nightly entertainment, including drag shows, charity Bingo, cabaret theater events, trivia contests and karaoke.
