The “Wonka-esque paradise” of Florida's Sloan's Ice Cream arrives at the Venetian's Grand Canal Shoppes this weekend, just in time for the holidays.
Shamelessly “over-the-top,” the 1,545-square-foot sweet spot is short walk from the resort’s St. Mark's Square. A self-described “ice cream utopia,” customers can indulge in a sugar overload beginning Saturday, Dec. 16.
Building on the vibrant interior design of its ten other locations, Las Vegas will feature “one-of-a-kind pink and neon green walls and signage, as well as seemingly endless amounts of candy, pastries,” plus walls lined with plush toys.

In addition to ice cream, guests can indulge with cookies, brownies, candy apples, homemade fudge and dozens of candy choices.
But the ice cream has become Sloan’s famous draw, especially the themed sundaes, filling a beach sand pail complete with shovel, a flower pot and “Tracy’s Kitchen Sink,” built with “12 scoops of ice cream and all of our toppings, gobs of whipped cream & cherries — all served in a real sink! “
