That Esports Arena headed to the Luxor has a big name chef attached to it now. José Andrés’ ThinkFoodEntertainment plans to create the food and beverages at the arena with a $9 million construction budget when it debuts in early 2018.Andrés, who claims to be an avid gamer, says he’s had fun developing a menu that keeps gamers in mind. The menu plans to feature “portions crafted with efficiency in mind.”
The former LAX Nightclub converts into a 30,000-square-foot multi-level arena with a competition stage, LED video wall, telescopic seating, daily gaming stations, and state-of-the-art streaming and television-quality production studios.
The partnership marks the fifth concept for Andrés in Las Vegas. His other restaurants include Jaleo Las Vegas, é by José Andrés, and China Poblano, all at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at the SLS.
