L.A.’s Canter's Deli is making a very high profile return to Nevada this year and has begun building their latest location, with the famed delicatessen now juggling three very active construction sites.

While promised opening date deadlines at The Linq and Tivoli Village have long passed, in late January the company revealed via Facebook they will be back serving their legendary pastrami sandwiches at both Las Vegas expansions "in May." An update earlier this month was switched to "early summer."

For fans taking a trip up north later in the year, the walls up are up on a Canter’s Deli destined for the casino floor of Reno’s Silver Legacy. All part of a series of more than $50 million in upgrades by Eldorado Resorts, which also operates the Circus Circus Reno and Eldorado Reno. The deli will join another well-known Las Vegas brand, Hussong’s Cantina, a resort tenant since 2013. Canter’s will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but no estimated debut date has been announced.

In Las Vegas, work continues on the 4,550-square-foot Linq Promenade space, adjacent to the The High Roller ticketing office. They will be taking full advantage of a substantial outdoor patio with views of the big wheel attraction and running a bakery with a take-away option.

At Tivoli Village, their 6,355-square-foot project will aim to tap into the local Summerlin market and will also feature a bakery that will do double service as a quick dining option.
