Jacques Café, the casual American bistro in Summerlin that opened in October 2014, has shuttered. The restaurant — which served up breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as a Sunday brunch — had room for 70 diners in the dining room and another 45 on the patio in Summerlin’s Trails Village shopping center.
Jacques Café got its name from owner and chef Jacques Pauvert. The menu there featured burgers, pasta and ribs, as well as vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Homemade pastries were baked onsite daily.
Ironically, this link to a Week in Reviews that includes Jacques Café from December 2014 features three other restaurants (Lucky Foo’s Restaurant & Bar in Henderson, Mercadito at Red Rock Resort and David Clawson Restaurant in Henderon) that are no longer in business, and Jacques lasted longer than any of them.
