California's H2O Sushi & Izakaya will be debuting a more formal restaurant later this year at the Hughes Center, but over at the Harmon Square retail center the company’s casual off-shoot H2O Poke & Sushi Burrito is already proving a busy destination.

Located at the intersection of Harmon Avenue and Paradise Road, facing the Hard Rock Hotel, H20 expands on the usual build-your-own sushi burrito, or poke bowl menu and adds some less familiar fast casual options.

At the counter service spot, guests can order New England clam chowder, fish tacos and fries tossed in a Cajun spice, or smothered in the clam chowder. Inside the bowls and burritos, protein options include tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, shrimp, albacore, scallop or octopus.

They also feature a selection of grilled choices, like "white fish basa," salmon, mahi-mahi and "jumbo shrimp." In-house created beverages like a virgin mojito and watermelon limeade are served in Mason jars that customers can take home.
