Southwest favorite The Butcher Block is relocating a short distance away, increasing in size and introducing their Chip Off The Block Deli concept to the neighborhood.
Located at 7625 S. Rainbow Blvd. since 2006, the company is moving half a mile south to the Santoli Center, at the corner of Rainbow and Santoli Ave. They will be joining fellow new arrivals Coco Donuts, Sweet Poke, Creamberry and the recently opened Café Summer.
A full-service specialty butcher that also sells seafood, the family owned company is proud of their inventory of hard to find and exotic meats including "elk, venison, buffalo, gator, quail, partridge, rabbit, pheasant, turtle and rattlesnake."
In 2013, The Butcher Block expanded to Centennial at the Corner of Durango and Centennial Drive, eventually spreading into the space right next door, to create Chip of The Block. The deli takes full advantage of their in-house quality meat selection and serves a casual menu including subs, hot sandwiches, highly regarded burgers and smokehouse ribs.
Now hiring, the Rainbow project is promised to be "coming soon."
