It might have missed promised December and January arrival dates, but The Oyster Bar is now expected to debut within days at the Hard Rock Hotel. Located next door to the Dragon Salon gaming area on the southern end of the casino floor, the 752-square-foot concept will include enough room for 18 diners.
Following the example of the original Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe, the Las Vegas version will specialize in "oysters on the half shell, rich pan roasts and gumbo." Already confirmed for the menu, calamari "fries", fried oysters & pickles, curried coconut seafood stew, shrimp & grits, and "Fish & Chips Loup De Mer." Opening hours have yet to be revealed.

The Oyster Bar sits next door to work site of the highly anticipated steakhouse from Michael and David Morton, now confidently predicting a spring debut. While all current paperwork refers to the project as the Crown Restaurant, the brothers have also recently trademarked the names "MBS" and "MB Steak."
Also on the horizon, a number of new retail additions to the resort. Under construction a 7,111-square-foot store called Rock, the 831-square-foot Bezel Watch, the 400-square-foot Shine Jewelry and the 3,075-square-foot Hudson Hootenanny, located next door to the steakhouse.
