Three Chefs on The Move in Las Vegas

All three moved on; one is opening an off-Strip restaurant

EASTSIDE — Chef Mike Minor is out at Bandito Latin Kitchen & Cantina, the restaurant he was building on Restaurant Row. Partner Kent Harman, who worked with Minor at Border Grill at Mandalay Bay, plans to move forward with the restaurant, which planned to serve Minor’s mix of Mexican barbecue. No word on whether Harman will continue in this direction of move on to a new concept. A spring opening is still anticipated. [LVRJ]

WESTSIDE — Former Estiatorio Milos chef Nikos Georgousis plans to open Meraki Greek Grill at 4950 S. Rainbow Blvd. in Spanish Trail Centre. He’s partnering with Jerry Goumroian, formerly of The Great Greek in Henderson. Vegas Seven reports the menu will include "lamb and chicken from the rotisserie and souvlaki sandwiches, as well as lighter fare including rice bowls and salads." [VS]

THE LINQ PROMENADEDoug Zuk left Off the Strip, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Zuk says the restaurant "began moving in a different direction than he expected when he was brought on board." [LVRJ]
