The Tropicana’s steakhouse shut down back in December, and now the restaurant is ready to serve up new dishes to go with its renovation. Biscayne Steak, Sea, Wine originally debuted in 2010, and now it features a new bar and lounge area, as well as a new lounge menu wit tapas, cocktails and craft beers.
The remodel with an estimated construction budget of $220,000 included a contemporary bar with a 150-label wine display and an expanded lounge with a new interior.
New menu items include wagyu sliders, shrimp ceviche and griddled lump crab cake, to name a few.
Biscayne is open Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m.
Elsewhere at the resort, work continues on creating the new dining annex that will house celebrity chef Robert Irvine's first Las Vegas restaurant and a yet-to-be confirmed second project, expected to feature some coastal roots.
Irvine's yet to be named venture is planning a July 2017 arrival.
