No matter what time of day, Ike’s is open, serving up cocktails, beer and more at El Cortez. The new 1,300-square-foot bar sits next to the resort’s keno area on the casino floor.
The bar features a lounge, wood floors and an area to watch the big game on 10 55-inch televisions and three 65-inch TVs.
A communal table anchors the space comes decked out in vintage chips from the El Cortez collection.
Hungry? Order anything from the Siegel’s 1941 menu through Siegel’s Gameside.
The new bar takes its name from Ike Epstein, a bookmaker from Chicago who moved to Las Vegas in 1959 to help open the Stardust.
El Cortez partner and executive manager Alexandra Epstein Gudai says that Ike Epstein was her father Kenny’s father. El Cortez also uses the Ike name for the casino’s operating company.
Go ahead and wander around the new digs.
