Just as one industrial chic coffee space debuts in Henderson, another is looking to sell up and relocate. Coffee Hunter debuted its Portland-style coffee shop near Sunset Park in March of last year, keeping true to its northwest inspiration by offering Portland’s Stumptown Coffee and Woodblock Chocolate.

Now, the coffee shop is up for sale, with owner Hunter Hawkins promising the closure is just a relocation, still thoroughly committed to remaining in Las Vegas. Pitched as a potential restaurant, doughnut, sandwich or boba tea shop, it sits at the Eastern Spring Village retail center on Eastern Avenue, close to the Walmart.

During the transition Coffee Hunter remains open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., pouring coffee from downtown Las Vegas' own Vesta Coffee Roasters, who replaced the Stumptown brand. Popular specialty items on the Coffee Hunter menu have included "kronuts," canelés de Bordeaux and quiche.

An announcement for the official clsoing date and new location will be made "soon."
