More doughnuts will soon be headed to the Strip, but this time around, the name is new and so is the style and presentation of the sugary treats.
Chicago-born The Dapper Doughnut is looking to Las Vegas to become a franchise flagship that specializes in miniature, hot, "cake style" doughnuts. While yet to be confirmed, they are promising they will very shortly debut at the MGM Grand.
Franchisers Jeff and Brian Pappas helped create the concept with Jimmy Nuccio and Gabriel Wiesen of Chicago’s Beavers Coffee + Donuts, operators of four roving food trucks and a permanent base at the Chicago French Market for their "dam good donuts."

At The Dapper Doughnut, they will serve "light and moist and slightly crunchy" desserts, created individually for each guest, who can choose their own toppings and sugars. Arriving in groups of six, nine or twelve, flavor options include s'mores, "Nutella dream," "loco coco," fluffernutter and a blueberry lemon glaze.
An exact location, opening hours and projected opening date are all yet to be revealed.
