A "Shack Attack" is headed to Henderson and the fourth local expansion for New York-based burger masters Shake Shack now has a confirmed and very prominent location.
Planning for a late 2017 debut, Shake Shack will take over a former Brookstone store at The District at Green Valley Ranch, on a corner of Village Walk Drive. The restaurant will fill 3,603 square feet of the 4,978-square-foot space, sitting across the street from REI and adjacent to a Jos. A. Bank men's clothing store. The current narrow sidewalk appears to rule out future patio seating.
On the menu, the famed Angus beef burgers, crinkle-cut fries, plus "frozen custard concretes featuring local Nevada food purveyors." Shake Shack will also sell its own beer, Shackmeister Ale, created by Brooklyn Brewery, and its own wine, from Frog's Leap Winery.
Interior booths will be made from "lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council" and the tabletops will be created from "reclaimed bowling alley lanes hand-crafted in Brooklyn, NY."
Shake Shack already operates at New York-New York on the Strip, Downtown Summerlin and is available for guests attending events inside the T-Mobile Arena at The Park.
