A year since it was first revealed to be expanding from Fairfax Avenue to Tivoli Village, legendary Los Angeles restaurant Canter’s Deli is confidently predicting that it will be opening its doors in "late May." Canter’s Las Vegas has installed new neon signage and is sharing progress pictures of the construction site, close to the Restoration Hardware mega-store.
The 6,355-square-foot project will feature a main dining room and an adjacent bakery for take-out orders. For fans of the deli's corned beef sandwiches, New York-style cheesecake, matzo ball soup and black and white cookies, the Tivoli Village location will be open from 7 a.m to 10 p.m., Sunday to Thursday and until 11 p.m on Friday and Saturday.

The deli's second Las Vegas expansion is headed to The Linq Promenade and is officially promising a "late June" arrival date. It will also feature a bakery, plus a patio with views of the High Roller attraction. Once hoped to be open 24-hours, the Linq site will be serving daily from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m.
